Responsibilities of Health Nurse Required in Galway

Responsibilities shall consist of, yet not be restricted to:

• Managing the process around pre-employment medicals and checks.
• Playing a lead role in the absence management and case management process
• Working closely with the OH physician and other members of the Occupational Health collaborating on the delivery and development of OH services.
• As required, performing ergonomic and additional risk assessments.
• Constantly seeking opportunities to improve OH-related processes and services, colleagues were informed.

To be considered for this role, interested applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Maintain RGN certification on the NMBI registry.
• Possess a pertinent certification in occupational health, if possible.
• Possess relevant experience in an occupational health role, including spirometry, audiometry, VDU phlebotomy, and absence case management, is preferred.
• Preferred experience in the design and implementation of Covid compliant workplace practices
