• Days and evenings—some weekdays and weekends in the central business district
• Evening and night shifts are available on select weekdays and weekends in the West End of Ottawa (Bells Corners area).

Duties and Responsibilities of Attendant Care Worker Jobs in Canada

• Provide personal care (bathing/showering, grooming, personal hygiene) and all Activities of Daily Living according to each client’s Service Plan;
• assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises;
• prepare nutritious meals according to the client’s diet, assist the client with eating, and complete kitchen clean-up;

• valid First Aid and CPR level C certification is required; CPI training for nonviolent crisis intervention is preferred.

• Our supportive housing program is available around the clock, seven days a week. Seven days per week, we have day, evening, and night schedules in place. The day shifts begin at 0600 or 0700, the evening shifts begin at 1500 or 1600, and the nocturnal shifts begin at 2200. Additionally, we require that employees be available to work a minimum of four-weekend assignments per month.
