Due to the scale and complexity of our unit, our ICU is comprised of six clinical pods that support distinct patient cohorts based on their clinical requirements. This configuration of specialized pods within a single unit is exclusive to Australian ICUs and enables you to not only specialize in one area but also cultivate your interests in a variety of specialties. As you become more specialized in your areas of interest, you will be able to select the pods in which you would like to spend the majority of your periods.
