Responsibilities of CNA Jobs in Bellevue

• Delivers personal care assistance to individuals.
• Implements safe practices and correct body mechanics when carrying out particular personal and supportive care tasks, including facilitating client ambulation and transfers, aiding in the maintenance of proper positioning and range of motion, and performing domestic duties.
• Prepares and organizes nourishing meals and aids in feeding, as directed.
• Assigned responsibilities include homemaking and other environmental services.
• Documents, reports, and observes any modifications to the patient’s condition. Report any inability to complete a specific assignment to the primary nurse.
• Adhere to the written directives for personal hygiene that have been formulated by a registered nurse in strict adherence to the care plan. Instructions in writing must be received before services are rendered.
• Provides patients with assistance with prescribed exercises as directed by the therapist or nurse.
• Conducts and documents basic urine analyses for albumin, acetone, and sugar.

Requirements for CNA Jobs

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Present state certification (or registration) by state certification/registration requirements as a nurse assistant.
• CNA certification with two years of experience. Before continuing to provide services, you are required to complete an additional training and competency program if it has been over two years.
• Effective completion of the care center’s competency program is required.
• Current certification in CPR.
