  • Possess knowledge of intellectual disabilities, challenging behaviors, and special requirements, as well as a willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Working Hours:

Remuneration:

The assistant salary scale for the Department of Health Care: €30,755 multiplied by 11 equals €43,123 (maximum) pro rata annually. Tenure:

These positions are pensionable and permanent part-time.

Probation:

The position is subject to a nine-month probationary period beginning on the date of appointment. Extension of the probationary period is at the discretion of the employer.

Travel:

The individual appointed is required to provide a vehicle of their own and proof of indemnity from their insurers, payable to the employer. Regarding travel required for the performance of official duties, reimbursement for travel expenses will be made at the applicable rate.
