The Hospice night-sitting service offers respite care in the comfort of the patient’s own homes for their caregivers and patients, allowing them to sleep, re-energize, and receive support.

Details of Night Care Assistant Jobs in Lancaster England

  • Location: Based from St John’s Hospice, Lancaster
  • Company: St. John’s Hospice
  • Hours: 19 hours per week (2 nights)
  • Working pattern: You will be in the patient’s home from 9.45 pm – 6.45 am
  • Role Type: Permanent
  • Pay: £12,112.88 to £12,488.32 (depending on the pension scheme and assuming 19 hours per week). In addition to a nightly allowance of £15 and mileage costs.
  • Holiday: 27 days holiday + bank holidays for full-time employees
  • Pension: Subject to availability, the NHS Pension Scheme is accessible, while the 8% employer-funded St John’s Hospice Pension Scheme is also available.

You must possess a valid driver’s license for the United Kingdom and have access to a vehicle during business hours.
  • Attending the patient’s residence from 9:45 p.m. to 6:45 a.m. (a total of nine hours) is in addition to the fifteen minutes of travel time and reading time that must be completed before entering the patient’s residence.
