  • Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses must be current.
  • BCLS certification must be current at the time of hire.
  • Recent nursing experience in a pre-admission clinic is preferred.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge, experience, and ability to provide care for patients with diverse needs, including knowledge of medications to guide patients through the surgical procedure.
  • Requires recent surgical nursing experience.
  • Phlebotomy and ECG acquisition experience are required.
  • Preferred is recent experience with Meditech, including PCS and Iatrics.
  • Problem-solving and critical reasoning skills are demonstrated.
  • Positive, adaptable team member with a positive attitude.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment are required.
