The Health and Adult Social Care Locality teams provide social services to people with a variety of conditions. We assist our district teams’ Social Workers in expanding their knowledge and expertise in substance addiction, elderly populations, and social issues affecting individuals with physical limitations or who are homeless. To provide guidance for the advancement of social work throughout the entire program, our area teams are experimenting with innovative asset-based practice models. The localities are collaborating more closely with our partners in the volunteer and health sectors to strengthen the interdisciplinary team approach to serving the residents of Brighton and Hove.

Our community teams ensure that vulnerable adults receive the appropriate care at the appropriate time and location. Our objective is to maximize security and autonomy while minimizing interference. These positions will assist us in meeting our legal responsibilities under the Care Act and in providing integrated services to our healthcare partners.

The successful candidate will:
